My Indian food creations! I decided to go all out for a friend’s potluck. I decided to make Chickpea and Potato Curry, and Butter Chicken. Both came out great. And since I got assistance from an Indian friend of mine, I consider my creations authentic :) The curry dish was quite simple to make, but the Butter Chicken required me to buy many different ingredients, including garam and tandoori masala, curry paste, and cardamom pods. World Market was a great store for finding these international seasonings. I made the Butter Chicken in a Slow cooker, the curry dish simmered on the stove, with basmati rice and naan to accompany the dishes! Of course, I was so happy after the potluck when there was enough left over for a couple of days worth of lunch. Yum!
